IPA Sponsored Event OP: Viper's Den 2 Date: Feb 05, 2012. Sundat Time: 15:00 Location: Diamond Back Operation Viper's Den 2 It has been almost 2 years since the conspiracy between the MVL and the DFF was uncovered. The deadly Mexican drug cartel Mi Vida Loca, led by the notorious Juan "El Gringo" Valdez, was able to transport his illegal cargo of drugs undetected through the Diamondback Mountains, while the international coalition of drug enforcement agencies were caught in a bloody battle with the DFF. But after almost 2 years of war, the DFF detachment in Diamondback has become weaker, and had to withdraw their forces back to the mountains to consolidate what is left of their unit with the MVL, which has also lost some personnel due to some of their members getting arrested over time by the DEA and their international counterparts. Gen. Emiliano Zapata VI returns to lead an ambitious international operation to finally bring El Gringo to justice. Will he be successful? We shall soon find out..... Where: Diamondback AO When: February 5, 2012 0930 - 1500 Sunday Who: IPA forum members GAME MAP: can be found HERE Proper introduction is required to play in this game, click on this : HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A GAME Combined Rules of Engagement: •RED RAGS and WHITE RAGS are mandatory!!! IPA store will sell them at the site for $10 a piece • 1 BB hit rule (weapon hits does not count) • Knife-kill/Surrender Rule is allowed • No Hit Calling • No Shooting below 15 feet (use knife-kill/surrender) • Parlay/Truce Rule in effect • Capture Rule not in effect (All Leadership roles only) • POW rule in effect (All Leadership roles only) • Bribing rule in effect • Trigger control - no Hosing!! • Dead players do not talk!! • Safety is Paramount - Game Controller's decisions are final Hit Rules: • 1 BB hit rule applies • Any part of your body is hit (including gears you are wearing) then you are considered hit • Weapon hits does not count (weapon must be in use - gbb in your holster does not qualify for this rule) • Knife-kills and surrenders are considered hits Knife Kill Rule: • Must be performed from behind or the target's flank (sides) • Must be close enough to touch or tap the person (less than 3 feet) • Target must be unaware of your presence • 1 knife-kill per person ( 1 person cannot knife kill a whole squad ) • Tap or verbally notify your target that they have been knife-killed if you have been knife-killed please honor this kill, play the part and not argue Surrender Rule: • Must be performed from behind or the target's flank (sides) • You cannot surrender from the front or when you are converging with your target • Must be performed with an engagement distance of 15 feet or less • Target must be unaware of your presence • Notify your target/s by yelling "Surrender" or "Bang-Bang - you're dead!" • Maximum 2:1 kill ratio; ( ex. if a player surrenders 2 or less players then its good. If you stumble into a squad/group of 3 or more and try to surrender, only 2 players will be counted as hit plus YOU will be considered hit as well) if you end up surrendering 3 or more players - the person surrendering will select which players are considered hit and which ones will continue on White Rag/Red Rag rule: • If you are hit/killed/surrendered the first time; a team mate must come to you and tie your own WHITE RAG to your body to simulate a wound; this will allow you to continue fighting (instant regen); There will be no bleed-out time • If you are hit/killed/surrendered the 2nd time; you must apply your RED RAG and proceed to the nearest designated regen point • once you've reach the regen point - you can remove both WHITE and RED RAG and re-engage Loadout Rule: READ CAREFULLY • ALL non-sniper weapons must conform with the IPA/SoCAL rule: ~1.66 Joules max limit: See this CHART for details. We will chrono all weapons • 1 Designated SNIPER rifle allowed per squad. Refer to the chart above for allowed velocity. Semi-Auto or Bolt Action Only: M700, M14-DMR, SVD, SR-25, M57, M324, M200, BAR10, M58, Type96, M82 • 1 Designated SAW class weapon per Coalition squad: M60, M249, LMG21, L85, RPK (DFF/MVL exempted) • Hand Grenades NOT allowed in this OP • Midcap or Standard (non-winding) mags only per non SAW player • Use of a BOX, C or ROUND Magazine - motorized or unmotorized in a non-SAW weapon is prohibited • GBB/AEP are allowed; max 4 magazines (must conform to FPS rules) • FRS/GMRS radios required for all Team Leaders • Compass and Map of the AO • Use of GPS devices authorized (set to MGRS) • All players must have some sort of hydration device (camelback, canteen, etc) • NO PYROTECHNIC of any type allowed (smoke, flare, incendiary, etc.) FACTIONS: UN: Unlimited slots at this time MVL/DFF: 20 slots available at this time[/list] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FREEZE MOTHER F%&?3R!!! siopsopmod Regular members Offline Posts: 5 Report to moderator � Logged Re: OP: Vipers Den 2 « Reply #1 on: December 19, 2011, 01:31:40 PM » Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any updates to this event?
